PURPOSE: A system operation method using a hardware lock and an electronic device operated by the hardware lock are provided to prevent hacking by an operating system using an electronic device. CONSTITUTION: The second storing unit(80) is electrically connected to a main board(40). The second storing unit stores an operating system. A processor(90) senses a connected state of at least one peripheral connecting unit. The processor compares each hardware identification code and at least one key identification code. The processor executes a related operation according to the comparison result.
