<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer for obtaining reliable absorbance data even if the absorbance has problems because of foreign matters, or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of absorbance data are obtained from intensity of light through a reaction vessel and a rate of change in the absorbance data is calculated (steps S401, S402). It is determined whether the calculated rate of change in the absorbance data is within a tolerance, absorbance data outside the range are deleted, and only normal absorbance data are analyzed as absorbance data (steps S403, S405). For measurement data, which are bases of analysis data, when they satisfy alarm occurrence condition setting values, an alarm is attached for display (steps S406, S407).
