<p>The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating BCNU(1,3-Bis(2-chloroethyl)-1-nitrosourea, Carmustine)-resistant glioblastoma multiforme, precisely a pharmaceutical composition comprising Rex-1 specific siRNA that is able to inhibit the expression of the stem cell marker Rex-1 (reduced expression-1) for inducing apoptosis of BCNU-resistant glioblastoma multiforme cells and for inhibiting tumor growth. The pharmaceutical composition of the present invention can be effectively used for the treatment of BCNU-resistant glioblastoma multiforme by co-administration with BCNU.</p> |
