PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a solid-state electrolytic capacitor which prevents the deterioration of a leakage current characteristic and the outbreak of a short circuit trouble while increasing breakdown strength, in the solid-state electrolytic capacitor using a conductive macromolecule as a solid-state electrolyte. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the solid-state electrolytic capacitor which includes a capacitor element having anode foil formed with a dielectric coating on the face, cathode foil, and the solid-state electrolyte formed of the conductive polymer, the method for manufacturing the solid-state electrolytic capacitor includes a first step of winding the anode foil formed with the dielectric coating on the surface and the cathode foil to form the capacitor element, a second step of dipping the capacitor element in a polymer solution including a precursor monomer of the conductive polymer and an oxidizing agent and polymerizing the conductive polymer chemically, and a third step of dipping and drying the capacitor element in a silane compound or a silane compound solution and forming a silane compound layer on a surface of the conductive macromolecule.
