<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally-simple and easy-to-assemble rain chain having a small number of components, which becomes stable after construction and which is sufficiently effective in preventing a splash of water. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A continuous piece 20 is made of a plate-like body, and an upper engaging portion 21 protruding from an opening 11 of a cup body 10 is formed in the upper portion while a lower engaging portion 22 protruding from a through-hole 12 of the cup body 10 is formed in the lower portion. A mounting portion 23, which includes an erected body plate 23a and a horizontal plate 23b having a vertically-penetrating drainage opening 23ba protruded laterally from both sides of the body plate 23a, is formed in an intermediate portion.
