PURPOSE: A motor protection control device and a method thereof are provided to measure a reliable current value by correcting an error which is generated in a current transformer. CONSTITUTION: A current measurement part(130) measures the second current value of a current transformer. A central processing part(140) comprises an element input part(141), an operation part(142), and a current compensation part(143). The element input part receives a compensation element value for correcting a current value which is measured in the current measurement part. An operation part computes an error correction value by using a measured current value and a compensation element value with the current measurement part. The current compensation part measures the first current value of the current transformer by computing the error compensation value and a current ratio. |
