<p>PURPOSE: A digital photographing device and a controlling method thereof are provided to supply the stopping function of a video photographing which coincides with a request of a user. CONSTITUTION: A target subject is determined(S204), and video photographing is started through a user input(S206). It is judged whether or not the target subject exists in a video taking area and whether or not a video photographing pause condition is satisfied depending on the existence of the target subject(S208). If the video photographing pause condition is satisfied, the video photographing is temporally stopped(S212).</p> |
