METHOD OF COMPRESSING / RESTORING SEGMENT OF ELECTROCARDIOGRAM SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A segment compression and restoring method of an electrocardiogram signal is provided to direct a DC value by using only difference value between a DC value before compression and a DC value after restoring an overlapped sample. CONSTITUTION: A segment is inputted. A re-constituted process is executed in order to overlap a part of sample to the adjacent segments(206). Each of the re-constituted segments is compressed(208). Each of the compressed segments is restored(210). A compression loss value corresponding to the difference value between a DC value before compression and a DC value after restoration as additional information(212). The DC value is saved as additional information for the first segment of a stream among the restored segments.
