<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet a demand for free selection on either single-side printing or double-side printing and to realize to improve efficiency of the printing when the printing is performed on a specified small paper. <P>SOLUTION: A printing apparatus capable of executing the double-side printing includes: a paper judging part for judging whether an indicated paper size is a size below a specified criteria or not; a single-side/double-side judging part for judging that either the single-side printing or the double-side printing is indicated; and a printing and paper-feeding controlling part which selects a short-side paper feeding for feeding a paper in the direction in which the short side is made vertical to the paper feeding direction in the printing apparatus and executes the printing when the paper judging part judges that the paper size is below the specified criteria, and the single-side/double-side judging part judges that the double-side printing is indicated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
