<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a reverse twist phenomenon cannot be spontaneously dissipated in an in-plane switching liquid crystal panel. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal panel including first and second substrates disposed opposite to each other at a fixed distance, a liquid crystal layer sealed between the first and the second substrates, an alignment layer, a counter electrode pattern formed on the first substrate side, and a pixel electrode pattern formed on the first substrate side and having a plurality of electrode branches, at least one extended direction of slits formed in both end parts of the slits formed between the plurality of electrode branches is formed so as to cross an alignment direction of a liquid crystal at ≥7° angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
