<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent valid data stored previously in the same block for writing data from being broken and becoming unreadable while suppressing the number of data cancellation times when writing data. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor storage device includes: a first storage unit 9 having a plurality of blocks for storing data supplied from outside; a write/read instructing unit 13 for instructing writing of data to the blocks; an address converting unit 14 for converting an external address of data to a memory position in the block by using an address conversion table 8 in which external addresses of the data are associated with the memory positions in the blocks; and a determination unit 15 for determining whether or not data associated with the external address based are stored in the plurality of blocks.
