摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion material and a thermoelectric conversion element that have high electrical conductivity, low thermal conductivity, and high efficiency. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric conversion material includes a plurality of linear structures 20 of carbon elements, and thermal conductivity decrease substances 22 included in the linear structures 20 and decreasing the thermal conductivity of the linear structures 20. Consequently, the thermoelectric conversion material can decrease the thermal conductivity of the linear structures 20 while maintaining the electrical conductivity that the linear structures 20 have, and also has a high figure ZT of merit and high efficiency.
