PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly maintain transmission power to a base station even though a common carrier changes by correcting variations in transmission power of a wireless communication terminal requested for each common carrier. SOLUTION: A mobile phone terminal 20 corrects a designated value of transmission power designated from a connected base station 10a or 10b for each common carrier of the base station, and controls the transmission power on the basis of the corrected value. Otherwise the mobile phone terminal 20 detects received signal strength from the connected base station 10a or 10b, corrects the detection value for each common carrier of the base station, determines transmission power on the basis of the corrected value, and controls the transmission power so as to obtain the determined transmission power.
