PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner giving a stable image density even in long-term use and excellent in electrostatic offset resistance. SOLUTION: The toner contains at least a binder resin, a colorant, a release agent (a) and a release agent (b), wherein (1) the release agent (a) is Carnauba wax, (2) the release agent (b) is a hexafunctional ester compound, and (3) a dielectric loss tangent (tanδ) of the toner at 25°C and a frequency of 1.0×10<SP>4</SP>Hz is within a range from 2.0×10<SP>-3</SP>to 9.0×10<SP>-3</SP>.
