PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a fine short-circuit by suppressing arborescent growth of lithium at the time of charging a nonaqueous electrolyte lithium secondary battery. CONSTITUTION:A material, coated with zirconium, is used for a negative pole collector 6 and a seal port plate 7 which is metal part having electronic conduction to the negative pole collector 6. By coating the negative pole collector 6 and the seal port plate 7 with zirconium, arborescent growth of lithium at charging time is suppressed. In this way, generation of a fine short-circuit where the aroborescent lithium passes through a separator 3 to come into contact with a positive pole 1, positive pole collector 8 and a case 2 is prevented. |
