PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with demands that a motor for rotating a disc used for a disc drive is required to be miniaturized, height, and cost these days, and demands for long life reaching up to several thousands hours as well as reliability in repeated removal of a disc by tens of thousands of times. SOLUTION: A hooking part 6 formed at a coming-off preventing member 7 is inserted into a through hole 16 formed at a rotor frame 2. A cut 19 of the size through which the hooking part 6 can pass is formed at the position deviated from the center line of a metal housing 10, in a hooked part 20 formed integrally toward the outside in radial direction, on the upper side end face in axial direction of the metal housing 10. The hooking part 6 is moved to the deviated direction so that it passes the cut 19. After completion of passing, the hooking part 6 is moved in the direction opposite to the deviation direction so that the hooking part 6 hooks on the hooked part 20. Thus a coming-off preventing mechanism of a rotor part 8 is configured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
