PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize exchange system which enables a store to supply prizes desired by users to promote their exchange for the prizes. SOLUTION: A prize managing unit sets any one of a single article selection system and a package selection system as a selection system of prizes which enables the display of them on a prize display device installed at the store (Z01). When the single article selection system is set, a single article selected is stored (Z05a) to allow the display of it stored or when the package selection system is set, a prize package selected is stored (Z05) to allow the display of the prizes contained in the prize package stored. When the package selection system is switched to the single article selection system (Z11), the single article selected during the preparation period is stored as a preparatory prize (Z15a). During the preparation period, it is possible to display the articles contained in the prize package selected before the switch of the system and the preparatory prize is made displayable after the elapse of the preparation period.
