UNICOMPARTMENTAL CUSTOMIZED ARTHROPLASTY CUTTING JIGS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME

Unicompartmental femoral and tibial arthroplasty jigs are disclosed. Each jig includes a first side, a second side opposite the first side and a mating surface. The mating surface is in the first side of each jig. The femoral jig mating surface is configured to matingly receive/contact a generally planar area of an anterior side of a femoral shaft generally proximal a patellar facet boarder and generally distal an articularis genu. The first side is configured to be oriented towards the arthroplasty target region surface when the mating surface matingly receives/contacts the planar area. The tibial jig's mating surface is configured to matingly receive/contact a generally planar area of an anterior side of a tibial shaft distal the tibial plateau edge and generally proximal the tibial tuberosity. The first side is configured to be oriented towards the arthroplasty target region surface when the mating surface matingly receives/contacts the planar area.
