PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of making ozone ice in which ice hardly melts in applying ultraviolet ray. SOLUTION: In this method of making ozone ice by applying the ultraviolet ray to the ice including an oxygen gas as air bubbles, and ozonating the oxygen gas in the ice, a deuterium lamp emitting only the ultraviolet ray, or the laser emitting the ultraviolet ray of a single wavelength is used as a light source 3 for applying the ultraviolet ray to the ice, so that only the ultraviolet ray is applied to the ice.
