<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device that includes a chassis member and a PDP bonded to each other through a double-sided adhesive sheet and easily removes the PDP from the chassis member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The plasma display device 204 includes a plasma display panel 201 having a pair of front-side substrate 111 and rear-side substrate 121 arranged facing each other across a barrier rib so as to form a discharge space between the substrates, and a chassis member 203 stuck to the rear-side substrate 121 of the plasma display panel 201 via the double-sided adhesive sheet 202. The plasma display device 204 also includes a heating element 126 disposed on a surface of the rear-side substrate 121 opposite to the surface having the barrier rib 124.
