METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING WEIGHT MATRIX FOR BEAMFORMING

PURPOSE: A weight matrix decision device for the beam forming deciding the weight matrix using transmission power about each terminal is provided to remove inter-cell interference by deciding per-antenna weight matrix. CONSTITUTION: A transmission power decision unit(200) decides a first transmission power of a first downlink signal to a first terminal and a second transmission power of a second downlink signal to a second terminal. An Eigen value calculator(210) decides the rate of the first and the second transmission. The Eigen value calculator produces the Eigen vector corresponding to Eigen values of the determined ratio and each Eigen value. A weight matrix decision unit(220) decides the weight matrix about each antenna with Eigen vectors.
