LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel corresponding to an analog display mode and a memory display mode.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel includes: (1) a capacitive element formed in each pixel; (2) a first switch element which is on-controlled in first operation for writing pixel potential in the capacitive element from a signal line and off-controlled in second operation for inversely amplifying the pixel potential after reading out the pixel potential from the capacitive element and rewriting the inversely amplified pixel potential; (3) a second switch element which is off-controlled in the first operation and on-controlled in a reading period of the pixel potential stored in the capacitive element during the second operation; (4) a third switch element which is off-controlled in the first operation and on-controlled in a pixel potential reading period to the capacitive element during the second operation; and (5) a writing circuit which restores a logical level of the pixel potential read out from the capacitive element through the second switch in the reading period of the pixel potential during the second operation and writing a logical inverse output of the restored logical level in the capacitive element through the third switch in a writing period of the pixel potential during the second operation.
