PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain stability of a sheet stacked on a stacking part, when staking the sheet by abutting against a butting part moved to a position determined in response to a kind of sheet. SOLUTION: This sheet processing device has a stacking control means for staking the sheet of printing an image by a printing part on the stacking part by butting against the movable butting part, and has a determining means for determining a position of the butting part in response to the kind of sheet, and a control means for restricting stacking of a sheet stacked by butting against the butting part moved to a first position determined by the determining means and a sheet stacked by butting against the butting part moved to a second position determined by the determining means, on the stacking part.
