<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method which causes no roughness in an image transferred onto a printing medium and brings about good adhesion and excellent curing properties and which makes a formed image free from wrinkles that deteriorate image reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: After radiation cured type ink for ink jet is jetted onto an intermediate transfer medium, the medium is exposed to a radiation so that the jetted ink be cured by the radiation and then the ink cured by the radiation is transferred onto the recording medium by heating at least.
