<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication network, without failure in establishing a optical path, even if the route for an arbitrary path is not always established in a domain due to a limitation in a connectivity between optical XC (cross- connect) devices in the domain in establishing an optical path across a plurality of domains. SOLUTION: An optical XC device 44, in a domain, maintains a connectivity management table 453 for managing connectivity between optical XC devices in the domain. A routing protocol processing section 452 calculates a new relay route which excludes the routes, which cannot be established from relay route information publicly notified from an adjacent domain and the table 453, and publicly notifies the adjacent domains.</p> |
