PURPOSE: An automatic tool changer for preventing the falling of the tool is provided to prevent the damage to a clamping groove. CONSTITUTION: An automatic tool changer for preventing the falling of the tool comprises a ATC arm(100) and a supporter(78). The ATC arm exchanges tools between the tool magazine and the milling spindle by clamping or unclamping a tool(T) mounted on a tool magazine and a milling spindle. The support stand is operated with the ATC arm in order that the ATC arm clamps or unclamps the tool.
