METHOD FOR SUPPORTING SENTENCE INPUT, PROGRAM THEREOF AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preferentially displaying not only an input candidate by association prediction but also an input candidate suitable to a sentence intended by a user.

SOLUTION: The method for supporting a sentence input includes the steps for: displaying at least one list of first input candidates corresponding to a key input or a speech input from the user on a display device in accordance with the input and allowing the user to select one of lists of the first input candidates; retrieving a character string which corresponds to at least one function allocated to a depressed prescribed key and is associated with the selected first input candidate from a dictionary recorded in a storing part in response to the depression of the prescribed key from the user; and displaying at least one list of second input candidates composed of the selected first input candidate and the retrieved character string on the display device and allowing the user to select one among lists of the second input candidates.
