PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an assembly process of a cylindrical member and a magnet, and to reduce displacement of a relative position of a rotation angle between the cylindrical member and the magnet. SOLUTION: A sensor includes: the cylindrical member 4 supported rotatably: the ring magnetic 5 fixed to the outer circumference of the cylindrical member 4; and a magnet detection element fixed to a fixing part oppositely to the magnet 5, for detecting a rotation phase of the magnet 5 by a change of a magnetic flux density. The cylindrical member 4 is rotated by vertical movement of a float floating on the liquid surface. The cylindrical member 4 is provided with at least one projection 9 elongatively in the axial direction of the outer circumference.
