<p>The invention relates to a method for making and hot-filling a packaging made of PET, that comprises the following steps : a) providing a PET preform that can be blown; b) blowing the preform in the cavity of a mould in order to form a packaging; c) removing the packaging from the mould cavity; d) filling the packaging with a liquid at a temperature higher than 80°C; e) tightly closing the packaging; f) sterilising and cooling the packaging; g) retracting the packaging; characterised in that: during step a), it comprises using a PET preform made of a copolymer containing terephthalic acid; during step a), at least a portion of the preform is at a temperature equal to or higher than 110°C; the temperature of the mould used in step b) is equal to or lower than 65°C; during step g), the packaging is heated for a duration of between 1 and 5 seconds to a temperature of between 600 and 1000°C in at least a portion of the packaging in order to generate a retraction and a volume reduction of the packaging. The invention also relates to a packaging obtained according to the above method.</p> |
