<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which sticks labels supplied from a roll on a container, is environment-friendly, and effectively uses label resources stuck on the container, or to provide such a method as above. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus is used for sticking the labels (100) supplied from the roll for the labels of the container on the container (10). The container (10) is supplied to a station (12) for sticking the labels. A cutting apparatus (1) is used for cutting the labels (100) to a required length (103).
