<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of easily recognizing a positional relation between a field of view under photographing and a mosaic image under creation without complicating a system configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a movable stage 230 capable of moving an inspection object while placing it thereon; a camera 210 which photographs the inspection object to generate a moving image; a mosaic image holding means for holding a mosaic image with a wider field of view than an actual field of view of the camera 210; a feature amount extracting part 131 for extracting feature amounts from a frame image constituting the moving image and the mosaic image; a relative position determining part 132 for determining a relative position between the frame image and the mosaic image by comparing the feature mounts; and a live image updating part 123 for updating a display position of the frame image on the basis of a determination result of the relative position. The relative position determining part 132 infers an overlapping region of the frame image and the mosaic image on the basis of the determination result of the relative position with respect to past frame images and compares the feature amounts in the overlapping region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
