发明名称 Mécanisme de centrage pour presses à vulcaniser sans sac à air
摘要 877,479. Tyre moulding machines. Mc- NEIL MACHINE & ENGINEERING CO. Dec. 14, 1959 [Jan. 7, 1959], No. 42379/59. Class 87(2). A tyre band B is shaped and cured by direct fluid pressure in a press by placing it on the lower mould half 21 with the lower bead in a seat 23, and then closing an upper mould half 20 to shape the band. Upper and lower bead clamping assemblies, 24, 25 comprising folding resilient " petal " members 70, 115 are held in folded position during the closing of the mould halves by the weight of a ring 80, Fig. 8, and a spring (150)-urged ring 135, respectively. When the halves are fully closed, members 94, 95 force the " petals " into moulding engagement with the beads. This arrangement allows the beads to roll upon themselves during shaping of the band, before they are clamped by the petals. Non pressure fluid may be supplied through inlet 106 and passages 113, during closing of the press. During curing high pressure fluid is supplied through the inlet 106, and additional high pressure fluid may be supplied through an inlet 26 to circulate the curing fluid. Before opening the mould air may be blown through inlet 26 to blow condensate out through the passages 113. After opening the mould, the tyre is stripped by moving a piston 140 upwardly to lift the lower bead ring 110 upwardly. A stem 138 is also lifted to fold the lower petals 115. The petals may have rubber pads 125, Fig. 13, or for heavy tyres, resilient metal elements (see Fig. 15, not shown).
