PURPOSE: A composition for cleansing skin, containing Acer mono extract is provided to ensure antibacterial action and to remove foot odor. CONSTITUTION: A composition for cleansing skin contains 0.1-15 weight% of Acer mono extract and 0.1-15 weight% of bambusae caulis extract as an active ingredient. The Acer mono includes for. dissectum, var. ambiguum, var. savatieri, var. horizontale, for. Connivens, and for. Rubripes. The extract is isolated using water, anhydrous or hydrous low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, mixture solvent of low alcohol and water, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, or 1,3-butylene glycol.
