<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial nipple the groove of which is not closed by a nipple holding mouth when the artificial nipple is held in one's mouth, and a nursing bottle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The artificial nipple is equipped with an artificial nipple body, a flange projected from the lower part of the artificial nipple body and a supply part formed to the flange to supply air into the nursing bottle and the groove formed to the flange to reach the outer peripheral end of the flange from the supply part is provided to the artificial nipple.
