PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator wherein the area of an interphase insulation sheet is reduced and insulation is ensured between coils and between a coil and a stator core. SOLUTION: The stator includes a first armature unit 500A and a second armature unit adjacent to the first armature unit 500A. The first armature unit 500A includes a coil 180 and an interphase insulation member 130A covering the outer side 154A of the coil 180. The second armature unit includes a second coil and a second interphase insulation member covering the second outer side of the second coil. In the interphase insulation member 130A, a first insulation piece and a first notch are formed. In the second interphase insulation member, a second insulation piece and a second notch are formed. The first insulation piece covers the second outer side exposed from the second notch and the second insulation piece covers the outer side 154A exposed from the first notch.
