<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a wall panel material which makes constructibility and economic efficiency excellent by facilitating connection of plate materials together, and which is also excellent in durability, in the mounting structure of the wallpanel of a building, etc. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This structure includes: furring strips materials 10 which are mounted sideways at predetermined spacing on the outside of a substrate material for laying a wall; the plurality of wall panel materials 12 which are vertically fixed among furring strips, and which have groove portions 16 and 16 formed in intermediate portions of both long-side lateral portions respectively in the longitudinal direction; and a long plate-like joint implement 14 which is fitted into a rectangular cross-section space portion 20 formed of the groove portions of the wall panel materials adjacent to each other, and the cross section of which is bent in an arc shape. The joint implement 14 is fitted throughout from the upper to the lower portions of the space portion 20, while a surface, which is bent in an arc shape and in which a recess 18 is formed, is directed outward, so that a gap formed of a wall surface of the space portion 20 and the arc-shaped recess 18 serves as a channel for discharging rainwater.
