<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve of compact size. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The solenoid valve 1 is equipped with a solenoid 2 having a flapper 21 moved in reciprocating motion, a pair of plugs 31-32 with fluid channels which are connected to a primary fluid channel 51 or secondary fluid channel 52 and have fluid channels opened/closed by a reciprocating movement of the flapper 21, and a valve element 40 opened/closed by moving in reciprocating motion by a fluid pressure of the primary fluid channel 51 or secondary fluid channel 52 selectively introduced through either of the pair of plugs 31-32 with fluid channels. Furthermore, a plug housing 30 housing the plugs 31-32 with fluid channels is integrally formed with a valve body 50A having a chamber 53 in which a valve element 40 is arranged.
