PURPOSE: A nano wire grid polarizer and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize damage and deterioration of the nano wire grid polarizer due to abrasion by forming the nano wire grid polarizer as a middle layer between a lower transparent substrate and an upper polarization sheet. CONSTITUTION: A nano structure is formed on a transparent substrate(101). A metal pattern is formed on the nano structure. A top layer(107) is formed on the metal pattern. A pore(108) is formed inside the top layer. An optical sheet is located on one of the lower side of the transparent substrate and the top layer.
