RECEIVER FOR RECEIVING EMERGENCY PROMPT REPORT IN TERRESTRIAL DIGITAL TELEVISION BROADCAST, TRANSMITTER FOR TRANSMITTING EMERGENCY PROMPT REPORT, AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter and a receiver that wait for start flag signals of emergency prompt reports even if addressees do not receive broadcast, and quickly transmit the emergency prompt reports when the emergency prompt reports are issued, and to provide a transmission system.

SOLUTION: The receiver includes: an AC reception-synchronization establishment section 2 for receiving a carrier of a transmission control signal when it is prescribed that telegram information, which stores a synchronization signal for recognizing the frame length of the transmission control signal (AC signal) for frame synchronization and a flag for identifying the presence or absence of the emergency prompt report, is transmitted from the transmission side by the transmission control signal; a frame synchronization holding section 19 for performing frame synchronization based on the synchronization signal included in the transmission control signal for holding; a flag monitoring section 21 for monitoring the value of the flag disposed immediately after the synchronization signal; and a power supply control section 22 for performing power supply control for intermittent reception to the AC reception-synchronization establishment section 2 when the flag monitoring means indicates that a flag value to be obtained does not include the emergency prompt report.
