<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to view and listen a part of content by trial under a certain condition. <P>SOLUTION: An acquisition section 1b obtains distribution data and limitation-point information of content which a receiving section 1a receives, and moreover stores the obtained distribution data in a distribution data storing part 1e and stores the obtained limitation-point information in a limitation-point information storing part 1f. A reproduction section 1c reproduces the content based on the distribution data stored in the distribution data storing part 1e. A reproduction limiting section 1d determines whether or not the predetermined conditions are met. When it is determined that the predetermined conditions are met, the limiting section 1d does not limit the content reproduction by the reproduction section.
