PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic device which incorporates an image projector, prevents unintended image projection due to mistake, and also is safe to its operating user and the surrounding viewers. SOLUTION: The mobile electronic device has a case housing a projector for output of the image light with a laser light source and the power supply, and forms an aperture to output the image light therethrough, a number of safety switches, and an image projection start switch on this case. The case has a front surface, a top surface, and both side surfaces. The safety switches are provided on both side surfaces, and the image projection start switch is operably formed on the top surface.
