AN ENCODING METHOD OF SCALABLE VIDEO DATA

摘要

PURPOSE: A scalable video data encoding method is provided to obtain an optimum motion vector by obtaining a new value for a section which is not overlapped, thereby performing quick compression without increase of a bit rate. CONSTITUTION: A table for storing a value overlapped in an overlapped section is generated(S401). An overlapped value is stored in the table after obtaining an optimum motion vector using a motion vector of an enhancement layer(S402,S403). A value stored in the table is used about the overlapped section. An optimum motion vector is obtained in a section which is not overlapped using a predicted motion vector of a basic layer(S411).
