SIMILAR WORD DETERMINATION METHOD AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a similar word determination method and system.

SOLUTION: The similar word determination method includes steps of: determining whether an input character string is a first language or a second language; calculating editing distance between a character string by writing pronunciation of a candidate character string in the second language among candidate character strings written in the first language and the input character string when the input character string is the second language; and determining the candidate character string written in the first language corresponding to the character string written in the second language whose editing distance with the input character string is equal to or less than a reference value among the candidate character strings as a similar word of the input character string.
