PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a multi-channel audio reproducing apparatus that is about to become widely used as home audio systems, even to an in-cabin application. SOLUTION: This reproducing apparatus 20 is provided with an input detection means 23 that automatically detects whether an input from a sound source is a multi-channel audio input MC or a stereo/monaural input S/M and with a reproduction characteristic correction means 24, that corrects reproduction characteristic in a reproduction circuit 21 into reproduction characteristic suitable for the multi-channel audio input MC, when a multi-channel audio input MC is detected by the input detection means 23. |
