PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle device capable of reducing uncomfortable feeling in leading the throttle opening degree to a predetermined value at occurrence of abnormality and capable of responding to a rapid deceleration operation by an operator. SOLUTION: A throttle valve 66 is driven by motors M1, M2. The throttle opening degree is detected with a rotation angle detecting unit 90 as the rotation angle of a throttle shaft fixed to the throttle valve 66. The accelerator opening degree is detected with an accelerator opening degree detecting unit 12. A control unit 30 drives the motors M1, M2 so that the throttle opening degree follows the accelerator opening degree. The control unit 30 drives the motors M1, M2 for matching the accelerator opening degree in the case the accelerator opening degree is smaller than the throttle opening degree at the occurrence of abnormality. The control unit 30 leads the motors M1, M2 to the throttle full closing state by driving the same at a predetermined full closing speed in the case the accelerator opening degree is same as or larger than the throttle opening degree.
