PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PTC heat generating device which is easy to assemble, capable of ensuring electric connection of a connection part, and improved in heat generating efficiency. SOLUTION: In the PTC heat generating device 10 which is composed of a PTC heat generating element 3 equipped with a pair of electrode layers, a first electrode terminal 1, a second electrode terminal 2, and an insulating case 4, wherein the first electrode terminal 1 and the PTC heat generating element 3 are arranged in the insulating case 4 in an electrically connected state, the second electrode terminal 2 has a cross-sectionally nearly U-shape composed of a metal plate having spring elasticity. By grasping the PTC heat generating element 3, the first electrode terminal 1, and the insulated case 4 with a nearly U-shaped opening part, the second electrode terminal 2 and the PTC heat generating element 3 become to have an electrically connected state, and the second electrode terminal 2 and the first electrode terminal 1 are insulated by the insulating case.
