<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator scaffold stand device for easily allowing various kinds of high-lift work on a lowest-floor elevator hall while keeping a scaffold stable during work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A support 9 of the scaffold stand device 7 having an engaging member 10, a long leg 11 and a stepladder stopper 12 is arranged to be protruded from the lowest-floor elevator hall 4 into a shaft 1. At this time, the engaging member 10 is put into engagement with the hall sill 6 of the hall 4 to prevent the horizontal movement of the support 9 toward the corner of the shaft 1. The long leg 11 is erected in a pit 2 of the shaft 1 to support the support 9. A stepladder 8 is installed on the support 9 while being prevented from falling down by the stepladder stopper 12.
