The invention relates to a rotary electric machine (10) that comprises: a fixed casing (36); a central shaft (12) rotatingly mounted about the axis (B) thereof in the fixed casing (32); a rotor (14) mounted on and connected to the central shaft (12); a single-piece target holder (22) having an inner bore (78) defined by a sleeve (84), or an axially oriented annular ledge (184) that is axially shorter than the sleeve (84), that is mounted on the central shaft (12) so as to rotate therewith and that comprises a bearing outer cylindrical surface (80) which is part of a rim having an axial orientation; at least one target (20) made of an elasto-magnet and attached to the bearing surface (80) of the target holder (22); wherein the inner bore (78) of the target carrier (22) is tightly mounted on a related segment (37) of the shaft (12) in order to block the target carrier (22) in rotation and axially relative to the shaft (12). The invention can be used in an alternator-stator for an automobile. |
