PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a temperature decrease in consecutive image formation in a fixing device that heats a fixing member with external heating means having a heating belt. SOLUTION: A pair of rollers for bringing the heating belt into contact with the fixing member press the heating belt against the fixing member with pressing forces different from each other.
