PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor structure, and a method of estimating deterioration of a component member of the outdoor structure, capable of determining precisely the degree of corrosion corresponding to an installation environment. SOLUTION: A corrosion sensor 11A is installed on a tower 102 which is a structure such as a wind power generation system. The corrosion sensor 11A includes a substrate 12 consisting of the same materials 13A... as those of the component members (such as a generator) of a structure such as the wind power generation system. A plurality of conductive sections 15, which are provided on the front surface of the substrate 12 of the corrosion sensor 11A with insulation sections 14 interposed therebetween, are covered up. The same coating 16A as the coating 16A applied to the component members (such as the generator) is applied over the outer surface of the tower 102 which is the structure.
